Exciting days during the Rome Startup Week where Medere was awarded in the Gladiator Challenge
The Rome Startup Week is a festival born in 2017 with the aim of bringing together people interested in the world of StartUp and Venture Business, enhancing existing projects. Furthermore, the event aims to disseminate knowledge on the themes of innovation and new entrepreneurship in order to provide concrete opportunities for young talents.
On the fifth and final day of the event, the three winners of the Gladiator Challenge were celebrated. Twenty startups competed in this competition, exposing their innovative idea in a five-minutes pitches. At the end, Medere ranked third, illustrating the main features of the POP project – custom orthopedic insoles (co-founded by the EU and Lazio innova in the context of the regional call Pre-Seed (Lazio Innova POR FESR LAZIO 2014-2020), which bases its innovativeness on the synergy between data acquisition technologies, imaging and 3D printing.
