3D insoles for people with type 2 diabetes: Medere publishes a joint project with the Italian National Institute of Health (ISS).

Medere announces a new scientific publication produced in collaboration with the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.

I study, “3D-Printed Insoles for People with Type 2 Diabetes: An Italian, Ambulatory Case Report on the Innovative Care Model”, by Mancuso, Marco, et al., was published in the journal Diabetology in 2023.

The research explores the use of 3D-printed insoles for people with type 2 diabetes within an innovative outpatient care model.

In particular, the study analyses the use of custom insoles designed to improve comfort and distribution of plantar pressure. The aim is to contribute to the management of problems related to the diabetic foot through digital and personalized solutions.
